Hoover Dam Bus Tour

Hoover Dam, also known as Boulder Dam, is one of the world’s most remarkable engineering feats, spanning the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. More than 21,000 workers toiled in temperatures soaring above 100 degrees for five years during the 1930’s. Daily, about 3500 men were on the job. Located about 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas, Hoover Dam is an amazing sight in and of itself, but also a grand location for viewing the Colorado River and Mead Lake. The tour also takes you to the Arizona Spillway where you’ll have perfect views of the water and the craggy, mountainous terrain, and then to the Arizona Lookout for a view of the face of the dam, surrounded by breathtaking scenery at every turn.
