Warner Bros. Studios Tour

Starline Tours offers the ultimate Hollywood adventure for those aged 12 and up on the Warner Bros. Studio Tour. You’ll never watch a movie or tv show the same way again after seeing how the magic of filming works. You’ll be taken to the 110-acre backlots, right up close to the sets and sound stages that are part of so many of your favorite shows. With actual filming occurring all around you while you tour, no two tours are exactly alike and you may catch a glimpse of someone you “know.” You’ll see where current hit shows are recorded, such as Ellen, Big Bang Theory, Mom, The Fosters, and many more.

Visit the Batcave, the Prop Department, and the Warner Archives to see some real costumes and memorabilia from some of the best shows on air today. Upstairs in the Warner Archive you can get “sorted” by the sorting hat into a Hogwarts House as you roam through the Harry Potter exhibits and marvel at the genius of J. K. Rowling in creating this magical story.  Next, you’ll have a look at all the incredible Batmobiles you’ve see on the multiple Batman themed series.

The Grand Finale of the tour is Stage 48: Script to Screen, where you get an in-depth look at how Hollywood is made. This immersive experience puts you on the interactive soundstage designing your own Batmobile and costumes, or asking production related questions of real employees. This pre-production phase includes a high definition touch screen where you can view the authentic head shots and audition reels from some favorite actors such as Leonardo DiCaprio, the cast of The Vampire Diaries, and more.

In the Production phase you can sit on the real Central Perk couch and take selfies with your own friends, record a real screen test, or reenact scenes. Fans of The Lord of the Rings will love returning to middle earth to be part of the special effect known as “forced perspective filming,” and the famous Malibu beach house set from Two and a Half Men is always a favorite.

Join in the movie-making magic by riding the Nimbus 2000 or Firebolt brooms from Harry Potter or ride the Bat-pod through the streets of Gotham just like the actors do while filming. This extraordinary tour reveals all the secrets of movie making, start to finish, and you’ll finish your tour with a complete understanding of all that it takes to bring us the screen entertainment that is so much a part of our lives.

Reservations required at 800-959-3131. You will be required to provide credit card info but will not be charged unless you do not show up. Further info including pick up time provided at time of reservation.
