Take a stroll through Central Park - with the horse drawn carriages and the tree-lined pathways you’ll feel like you’re in a scene of movie! This two-hour walking tour highlights more than 30 film and television locations in the most famous urban oasis, Central Park. Led by actors and actresses, the tour visits landmarks like Bow Bridge, Bethesda Terrace, Wollman Rink, Gapstow Bridge, the Dairy, Sheep’s Meadow and Cherry Hill most of which have been featured in movies like Home Alone 2, Serendipity, Stepmom, Love Story and many more.

You’ll saunter through the Mall, also known as the Promenade, an area popular for socializing and relaxing and featured in movies like Serendipity, Vanilla Sky, Big Daddy and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Take in the beauty of the twenty-two acre lake, the Reservoir, as you make your way to the cast iron Bow Bridge leading straight to Cherry Hill. After touring Cherry Hill and learning of its many film debuts, you will stand at the Bandshell where Martin Luther King stood to make speeches.

Next, you’ll go through Strawberry Fields, an area dedicated to John Lennon’s life and music in 1985. As you pass through Sheep’s Meadow you’ll see hundreds of people relaxing, sunbathing and playing frisbee. You’ll reach Tavern on the Green, a restaurant that appeared in Ghostbusters, New York Stories and Wall Street and you will end at Columbus Circle home to countless film scenes from movies like Borat and Taxi Driver.

Each of these iconic landmarks throughout the park have been included in too many productions to count and by the end of this tour you will feel as if you’ve been walking through a movie set yourself. This is a must for movie buffs and tourists alike!
