Bootlegger’s Prohibition Pub Crawl by Grim Philly Twilight Tours

This two-in-one tour gives you the opportunity to discover the sordid past of Philadelphia’s prohibition period AND the chance to socialize in three of the the city’s best drinking spots – from those with historical significance to the hippest new watering holes.

During the first hour, you’ll take a historical tour of the city and hear twisted and chilling stories of colonial brewers, gangsters and prohibition-era gangsters. Learn about Al Capone, Micky Duffy, Waxy Gordon, Leo Lanzetti and other famous bootleggers and gangsters.

Then, you’ll visit three taverns, where you’ll enjoy complimentary beverages and drink specials. You’ll have time to socialize, partake in some prohibition-inspired trivia, and win prizes. At each tavern, your guide will throw in some more fun facts about the most intriguing aspects of Philadelphia’s past.
