What is eSIM?
eSIM stands for embedded SIM card, which is a type of SIM card that is already built into your device. It offers a more convenient, advanced, and secure method of connecting to a network. With eSIM, you don’t need a physical SIM card. You can simply activate a connection by scanning the QR code or manually entering the provided information from the email we send you.

Can I top up my plan?
Yes! If you need more data you can top up easily on our website through “My Account”. If you are running out of data, please top up while your eSIM/SIM is active. This will save you the hassle of installing another eSIM/SIM. If your plan expired, you will not be able to add more data to the same eSIM/SIM.

When should I setup the eSIM?
We recommend activating your (e)SIM only when you arrive in the US, since the time for usage begins upon activation.

Is my phone eSIM compatible?
Most newer phones are eSIM compatible.
iPhone 14 and newer only take eSIMs.
Most Samsung Galaxy 20 and newer phones are eSIM compatible.
The exception are some phones from certain Asian countries.

Can I get a physical SIM (pSIM) card?
Yes! We do offer pSIMs, which can be mailed or delivered to a destination in the US. This can be done quickly in the New York City area, but would take longer to other locations.

How do I activate my eSIM?
Make sure you are connected to WiFi, except for newer iPhone models. We will send instructions with a QR code to your email on how to install and activate your eSIM. In general, go to your phone settings > connections > and tap on add eSIM and follow the directions. Our customer support team will be more than happy to help you through the process.
