n this 3 City tour, we go inside and explore the ‘Notre Dame of the Smokies’ The Sevier County Courthouse and visit our very own Dolly’s Statue. Then it’s on to Pigeon Forge, to view one of the most photographed mills in America, the 1830 “Old Mill” and learn the unique role it played during the Civil War.
Dolly’s Rags to Riches
This original Dolly Tour will travel along the back roads of Sevier County seeing many of the sights only heard about in Dolly's recent movie "The Coat of Many Colors". Places such as the grammar school where she met her best friend Judy Ogle, the church where her grandpa Jake Owens preached and also go by the home of “Sawdust Lindsey" who inspired her to write the song "Apple Jack" .
